1. 法律框架

(a)《玩具及兒童產品安全條例》（香港法例第 424 章）第 3 條：任何人不得製造、進口或供應玩具，除非該玩具符合附表 1 所指明三套玩具標準（ISO 8124、BS EN 71、ASTM F963）中任何一套的全部適用規定。違反者首次定罪最高罰款 HK$100,000 及監禁 1 年；其後定罪最高罰款 HK$500,000 及監禁 2 年。

(b)《玩具及兒童產品安全（附加安全標準或規定）規例》要求在本港供應的玩具附有識別標記（製造商、進口商或供應商名稱及地址）及中英雙語警示或警告，並符合塑化劑濃度規定。

(c)《消費品安全條例》（第 456 章）第 4 及第 6 條：非玩具類消費品亦須符合一般安全規定，即產品須合乎合理的安全程度；符合適用認可標準者，視為符合該規定。

2. 我們所引用的標準版本

本店所售玩具須符合第 424 章附表 1 所列三套標準（ISO 8124、BS EN 71、ASTM F963）中任何一套嘅適用規定；我哋會要求供應商提供相應測試文件，未取得文件之前，我哋唔會聲稱產品已通過測試。以歐洲標準為例，附表 1 現時引用的版本包括 BS EN 71-1（機械及物理性能）、BS EN 71-2（易燃性）及 BS EN 71-3（某些元素的遷移）等，附表隨標準修訂更新（最近一次於 2026 年 8 月 1 日生效）。CE 標誌是歐盟市場的要求（玩具安全指令 2009/48/EC）；香港法例並不要求玩具貼上 CE 標誌；本頁引用 CE／EN 71 標準只為說明法例要求，唔代表本店任何產品已取得 CE 認證或已完成 EN 71 測試。

3. 一般安全警告

  • 請在家長或成人監督下使用，並以產品標示的年齡建議為準。
  • 3 歲以下兒童不得接觸含可脫落小零件的玩具（窒息風險）；產品標示「不適合 3 歲以下兒童」者請嚴格遵守。
  • 請即時棄置破損、變形或零件鬆脫的玩具，勿自行改裝或維修。
  • 含磁石、彈射物或繩帶的玩具須特別留意；在窗簾繩附近使用長繩玩具可致勒頸危險。
  • 充氣、水上及戶外玩具須在成人貼身看管下使用，切勿在深水區使用。
  • 電池玩具：只使用指定型號電池，勿混用新舊或不同型號；避免短路、擠壓、加熱、拆解或投入火中。如電池發熱、有異味或滲漏，請立即停用。
  • 化學玩具（如實驗套裝）及顏料須按說明書在家長指導下使用，避免接觸眼、口。
  • 如誤吞零件或電池，或出現呼吸困難，請立即求診（香港：致電 999 或到就近急症室），並帶同產品標籤及包裝。

4. 收貨後建議

請檢查包裝上的識別標記、年齡建議及雙語警告，並保留包裝及說明書。如貨品欠缺雙語警告或你相信它不安全，請立即停用並通知我們，亦可向香港海關（www.customs.gov.hk）舉報。

5. 我們的責任

我哋要求供應商提供符合第 424 章嘅證明文件，並就安全問題，並就安全問題配合法例下的警告、禁制及收回安排（第 456 章第 7 至第 9 條及第 424 章相關機制）。如發現已售貨品有安全問題，我們會主動聯絡受影響客戶，安排停用、換貨或退款。

1. Legal framework

(a) Toys and Children's Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424) section 3: no person may manufacture, import or supply any toy unless it complies with all applicable requirements of any one of the three sets of toy standards specified in Schedule 1 (international standard ISO 8124, European standard BS EN 71, and ASTM F963). The maximum penalty is a fine of HK$100,000 and 1 year's imprisonment on first conviction, and HK$500,000 and 2 years' imprisonment on each subsequent conviction.

(b) The Toys and Children's Products Safety (Additional Safety Standards or Requirements) Regulation requires toys supplied in Hong Kong to bear identification markings (name and address of the manufacturer, importer or supplier) and applicable bilingual (Chinese and English) warnings, and to comply with limits on phthalates in toys.

(c) Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance (Cap. 456) sections 4 and 6: consumer goods that are not toys must also meet the general safety requirement, that is, be reasonably safe; goods that comply with an applicable approved standard are taken to satisfy that requirement.

2. Standards we refer to

Toys we supply must comply with the applicable requirements of any one of the three sets of standards listed in Schedule 1 to Cap. 424 (ISO 8124, BS EN 71, ASTM F963); we require suppliers to provide the corresponding test documents, and we make no claim that a product has passed testing before those documents are on file. Taking the European standards as an example, the versions currently referenced include BS EN 71-1 (mechanical and physical properties), BS EN 71-2 (flammability) and BS EN 71-3 (migration of certain elements); the Schedule is updated as standards are revised, most recently with effect from 1 August 2026. The CE mark is a requirement of the European Union market (Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC). Hong Kong law does not require toys to bear a CE mark; this page refers to CE/EN 71 only to explain the legal framework; it does not mean that any product in our shop holds CE certification or has completed EN 71 testing, and we do not claim that CE marking is a legal requirement in Hong Kong.

3. General safety warnings

  • Use toys under the supervision of a parent or adult; follow the age recommendation on the product.
  • Keep toys with small detachable parts away from children under 3 (choking hazard). Where a product is marked "not suitable for children under 3 years", please follow it strictly.
  • Discard toys immediately if they are broken, deformed or have loose parts. Do not modify toys or repair them with non-original parts.
  • Take extra care with toys containing magnets, projectiles, cords or strings; long cords near window blinds can cause strangulation.
  • Inflatable, water and outdoor toys must be used under close adult supervision and never in deep water.
  • Battery toys: use only the specified battery type; do not mix old and new or different types of battery; avoid short-circuiting, crushing, heating, dismantling or throwing batteries into fire. Stop using immediately if a battery becomes hot, gives off an odour or leaks.
  • Chemical toys (such as experiment sets) and paints must be used as instructed under adult supervision, avoiding contact with eyes or mouth.
  • If a part or battery is swallowed, or if breathing is affected, seek medical help immediately (in Hong Kong call 999 or go to the nearest accident and emergency department) and bring the product label and packaging with you.

4. After you receive your order

Check the identification markings, age recommendation and bilingual warnings on the packaging, and keep the packaging and instructions. If a product you received lacks bilingual warnings, has suspicious labelling, or you believe it is unsafe, stop using it and contact us so we can follow up. You may also report suspected unsafe toys to the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department (www.customs.gov.hk).

5. Our responsibility

We require suppliers to provide documentation showing compliance with Cap. 424; we cooperate with warning notices, prohibition notices and recall arrangements under the relevant legislation (sections 7 to 9 of Cap. 456 and the corresponding mechanisms under Cap. 424). If a product already sold is found to raise a safety issue, we will contact affected customers and arrange for use to stop, replacement or refund.
